In which the Caterist loses the plot, but not the tax dollars ...

To begin with a dose of reptile fever, or as they say, an EXCLUSIVE

Uh huh, did it tingle or burn?

Chip off the old block?

Speaking of hacks, the Caterists have turned up to hack away on a Wednesday ...

The pond only offers the Caterist in this form to emphasise the majesty of the illustration … and the way it fills up the space in the lizard Oz tree-killer edition …

Ah airport lounges, do they provide anything of worth? If it's free, is it worth what it cost?

Never mind, the pond immediately wondered how that header might have been reproduced in Media Watch

The digital version doesn't offer much … just "The Caterist lost the plot" ...

But the google version matches the tree killer edition, and offers more possibilities ...

How about "The Caterist lost the plot and the Speccie mob are still paying the price"?

It goes without saying that the pond has already done Media Watch doing over the Caterist, but the moment that the Caterist reared his head, the pond swore it would do it all over again …because when it comes to the Caterist incessant repetition is what's on offer, and so incessant repetition is what it must be ...

Uh huh, almost any word will provide the cue and trigger the pond …

It was the Speccie mob's misfortune that the Caterist lost the plot and began rambling …

Talk about an invitation to do a central scrutiniser on anything that the Caterist scribbles …

It cost the Speccie mob more than a cool half mill … but it might explain why the Caterist has retreated to the safe haven of Chairman Rudd bashing, the chairman having left the scene long ago ...

Sorry, the pond can't help it. Every so often a trigger word comes along and the pond gets triggered, and "special interests" and the talk of dinkum Oz coal, oi, oi, oi, cleaner than clean, and inner city votes sent the pond off yet again …

There's your special interests in a nutshell … taxpayer dollars at work helping finance Caterist gobbledygook …

Talk about redistributing wealth after it's been created ...

And so to a topic that the Caterist thoughtfully ignored, though it has a lot more implications for the world than the thoughts and deeds of former Chairman Rudd …

  1. Complete this sentence: "If an ideologically blinded, ignorant imbecile like Nick Cater is in favour of something, then it must be ........"

As for Ken Henry, well, I'm all in favour of saving the hairy-nosed wombat too, but appointed by Costello then retained by Rudd ? And now he's Chairman of the NAB and the ASX ? Sounds like your average ideologically blinded econorat revolving-door pubserve to me.

  2. HOOGE evening at the Menzies Resource Centre last night by all accounts.

A number of little-read chaps and a chappess purported to teach the punters how to win at twitter. One of these chaps was the little-read dog botherer-in-chief, and man emblazoned in winning.

Coincidentally, he was out campaigning for the Liberal party last week apropos of La Tingle - he can expect a thorough investigation from The Australian I should imagine, if not a hazing.

Next week at Menzies Resource Centre, I believe the Caterist will lecture on - wait for it - winning in journalism.

Like The Donald said, we'll be sore from all the winning we'll be doing.

    1. After the huge success of the D-B-i-C's "win at twitter against the evil Lefties" soiree, they'll be hiring the MCG for the Melbourne version. How many paying customers was it in Sydney ? Richard Acland reckoned it as 11 in the Saturday Paper (with 10 booked for Melbourne, apparently). Must have been the bargain price of $45 that dragged in so many, I guess.
