In which the pond enjoys a homophobic harvest of hate thanks to the Sunday Terror ...

It being a meditative Sunday, it's time for the Sunday Terrorists to get out and about with a goodly dose of hate and homophobia ...

First up a little burst from the Devine ...

Of course poor old Catherine McGregor has found out what it's really like to have someone be deeply, profoundly rude ...

Well even for a pond dedicated to reptiles, that was too much of a toilet bowl of conservative Catholicism for the pond to provide a link to ...

Poor old McGregor has broken up with the onion muncher of late, but the pond always wondered why she hung around with him in the first place ...

It was obvious that she was being used as a handbag, as a way for the onion muncher to promote the bizarre notion that he was tolerant, when in reality the bigotry was visible on the surface all along ... in much the same way as the Devine really doesn't do much to hide a vicious intolerance in her short outing...

Well no, the abuse isn't overwhelmingly from one direction, but that's no reason to link to or promote the vile abusers ...

It's enough just to drench people in a short spray of essence of Devine ...

And with that duty done it's time to move on to the main course ... Akker Dakker in all his pomp and circumstance and queenly glory ...

This day Akker Dakker is the Devine cranked up to eleven, if only because he carries on, in the usual pompous, portentous Akker Dakker way, at great length ...

The pond had thought that the heat had gone out of the debate, but not when it comes to the defiant, diehard homophobic bigots, who will blather to their last breath and pound away at their keyboards until their fingers drop off ...

As an aside, the local street library recently provided the pond with Alexander Lowen MD's deeply Freudian 1965 study of sexuality, Love and Orgasm. What a hoot it was, what a service the street library provides, and naturally there was a chapter on homosexuality, which began by considering the "homosexual problem":

Indeed, indeed.

Frankly the pond didn't have a clue what Lowen was on about. Was he talking of bum sniffing in rugger scrums? Or were there simpler clues?

Never mind, moving right along to Akker Dakker ...

Oh indeed, indeed ...

Let no one allege that Akker Dakker is in any way inclined to complain, grouse, grouch, grumble, whine, moan, carp or mutter about the whingeing ...

Please, let us not condone the notion that Akker Dakker complains persistently, in a peevish and irritating way, like a whingeing killjoy ...

Of course Akker Dakker would invoke the thoughts of a war criminal ... but luckily the advertisement was a snap designed to make the text of little Johnny's thoughts unreadable, so the pond can treat it the same way ...

And it's never no mind, because Tandberg had already summed it up more succinctly in a cartoon ...

And now a message from our sponsor ...

And so back to another gobbet of the whining, moaning, carping, complaining, whingeing Akker Dakker ...

Indeed, indeed, and the refusal to take seriously matters of bigotry and prejudice require deep thinking from some of Australia's finest ...

It is of course a remarkable tribute to Malware's foresight that the debate could be conducted without bitterness and rancour, in a friendly and reasoned way, and without any harm done to friendships ...

There's more, easily googled - thanks to a pond reader - but the pond must return to Akker Dakker for the wrap-up ...

Hmm, no mention of the way he transformed Iraq and the Middle East and brought it to wondrous peace by acting as deputy sheriff?

Never mind, as usual Akker Dakker brought out the loons in full cry ...still missing their fallen onion-munching hero ...

Oh wake up, wake up sleeping beauties ...

Never mind, the onion muncher, expert climate scientist, will soon be giving a talk explaining to the world his rich scientific understanding of climate science, and perhaps then we can explore further the infatuation that the onion muncher inspires ...

Where would we be without memes?

And so to a final Tandberg, with more Tandberg here ...
